Dr. Billy Keniston
Dr. Billy Keniston is a Full-Time Faculty member in the History Department at Cuesta College.
Dr. Keniston holds a PhD from the University of Illinois and an MA from the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. His published works include "Choosing to be Free: A Life Story of Rick Turner" (2014 Jacana Press) and "Apartheid Spies and the Revolutionary Underground" (2023, Wits Press).
Dr. Keniston is deeply committed to ending racial injustice and sees the study of history as a means towards that end.
Dr. Keniston will be discussing
